Story
Pompage Industriel was founded in Quebec City on February 21, 1972 by brothers René and Lionel Letarte. After expanding into Montreal in the 1980s, Pompage Industriel refocused its operations on the Quebec City region in the mid-1990s.
With the arrival of François Michel and André Leclerc as new owners in 1995, Pompage Industriel got a second wind. In 1999, Pompage Industriel opened a division in the Saguenay region and participated in the construction of the Alcan aluminum plant in Alma. The following year, in 2000, Pompage Industriel opened a division in Ottawa, Ontario. This division, headed by Marc-Antoine Leclerc, experienced significant growth and contributed to Pompage Industriel's success and development until 2009.
In 2011, Alexandre and Marc-Antoine Leclerc took over from their father and continued to grow the company. 2012 was marked by the awarding of several contracts for the concreting of wind turbine bases. More than 180 bases were concreted by the Pompage Industriel team that year. in 2016, the Leclerc brothers bought Pompage BCG in Trois-Rivières and continued to expand the territory served by their concrete pumping business. In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, Pompage Industriel works on a major expansion project at the Port of St. John in New Brunswick. In 2021, Pompage Industriel acquires Pompage Exel and its 8 concrete pumps.
Then, in 2023, Pompage Industriel Saguenay acquires Pompage de béton Lac St-jean and its three concrete pumps to better serve the greater Lac St-Jean region.
Today, with 7 branches and over 60 concrete pumps, Pompage Industriel is the leader in concrete pumping services in eastern Quebec. Pompage Industriel contributes to the construction and development of Quebec by pumping over 500,000 cubic meters of concrete every year.

With pumps equipped with distribution masts ranging from 28 to 68 meters, we can always find a solution to pump concrete where you need it. Our latest pumps are powerful and reliable. They can pump up to 200 cubic meters of concrete per hour.
Pompage Industriel also has placement mast equipment and a 20M spider to handle multi-storey building projects of up to 40 storeys.
Civil Engineering

Our fleet of pumps is mainly equipped with the same model of pumping system, allowing us to carry out a single suitability test to qualify all pump sizes for Ministère des Transport du Québec projects.
Wind Energy
Wind power projects are very demanding. They are often located in remote areas. The reliability of the machines and the experience of the operators are paramount to the success of these mass concrete pours. Wind turbine bases contain between 300 and 900 cubic metres of concrete, making these pours very demanding for both pump and operator.
With over 13 wind farm projects involving more than 400 wind turbine bases in the last 13 years, Pompage Industriel is the benchmark for wind farm work.
